Eastern Iowa Community Colleges are some of the best colleges around the Iowa area. Classrooms are neat and tidy and the student to teacher ratio is very reasonable so if you need one on one time or time with fellow classmates there is time and options. The campus's themselves are very well kept and upgraded over the years to stay on top of good education. They offer online classes for those who cannot attend the physical campus and the format is very reasonable.

Olivia - 10/13/2021

Eastern Iowa Community Colleges are a great place to save money and continue your education before transferring to another college. There is a wide variety of classes and ways to attend. Professors like Anna Schony and Christine Sandstrom are some of the most caring professors you will ever have the honor of working with.

Jenna - 06/12/2020

It's a small community college that offers affordable classes. All the instructors I had were very kind, knowledgeable and easy to contact outside of class hours. If you are going for your general education classes or associates degree before transferring to a university, I highly recommend this Eastern Iowa Community College.

This community college is pretty great. Teachers are very fair and helpful. You get a good bang for your buck and a pretty good education. Plenty to do outside of classes and alot of extra opprotunities in clubs. Very friendly students and there is a great tutoring system in place. I would recomend to others.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

Stick with it! The road ahead is going to be longer and rougher than you think, but you just have to keep your chin up and go with the flow. You'll see financial worry, stress, and a feeling of getting in over your head, but it turns out that that's half the fun. Enjoy the "stresses" of life now, while you're young, because when you finally graduate and hit the "real world," you won'tn have such a wide safety net anymore. And most importantly, have fun and love what you do! You'll remember these years for the rest of your life.

  4. What's unique about your campus?

The best thing about my school is the low cost of tution, the teachers actually want you to succeed, and the councelors are actually there to help and take the time to answer any questions you have to ask. We have just as many resources available to use as other schools of higher learning such as University of Iowa and St. Ambrose university. Not to mention with smaller classes we have a better chance of retaining and learning more information then those who have to share there classes with 500 or more students. that the best thing about my school.

I don't really find anything all that frustrating. When you go to the school there is plenty of people around to answer questions and when you're online you have plenty of help too. The online classroom is pretty easy to use.
