This scholarship is open to U.S. and international students who reside and attend college/university in Nebraska. Students must major in education, and must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher if a graduate student or 3.0 or higher for all other students (high school seniors may also qualify based on an SAT score of 1030 or higher or an ACT score of 22 or higher).

Lois E. Carter Memorial Teaching Endowment Scholarship
This scholarship is open to U.S. and international undergraduate and graduate students who reside in Arizona or Michigan. Students must major in teaching, and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Cards Against Humanity Science Ambassador Scholarship
This scholarship is open to U.S. undergraduate students who identify as women and are seeking a degree in a STEM field. Students must submit a three-minute video explaining a scientific topic about which they are passionate.
Strong Roots Scholarship and Essay Contest
This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students who possess an interest in community building as demonstrated by their resume and application essay. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Outstanding Citizen Scholarship
The Outstanding Citizen Scholarship and Essay Contest aims to give demonstrated community leaders and dedicated citizens an opportunity to pursue the education that will inform and better their causes. Thomas Soldan Healthy Communities Scholarship
This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students who possess a proven record of interest in healthy communities through past and present volunteer, professional, or educational experiences. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Seth Okin Good Deeds Scholarship
Attorney Seth Okin created the Seth Okin Good Deeds Scholarship to aid students in their academic pursuits and their lives of activism. This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to the student who provides the most thoughtful, well-reasoned view of how people can best engage in community service.
