ASU in general is known for innovation, being green, and for it's mission to unite academic excellence with accessibility. The students here are competitive on a global scale and like to achieve great things. The Polytechnic campus is known for it's role in applied learning - meaning learning in the classroom that incorporates real and practical knowledge from the field. The curiculum not only addresses the theoretical, but the real issues facing today's workforce in engineering, business, medicine, and applied sciences.

Arizona State University is highly known as a "party school" but in reality, it is a really advanced university. The Engineering program is really advanced and one of the top programs in the nations. Many people from all over the world go to Arizona State University to experience the true college experience.

My campus is best known for being called the Nerd School because most of the students here are SUPPOSED to be the brainy, geeky types. It's mostly computer science majors, flight aviation majors, and such. But i love my campus not just for the smallness, but because it's smallness requires people to become close and somewhat like a community. You really get to know people here, while at the Tempe Campus where there's way more students you never get to know everyone. At Polytechnic you really have to get involved which is a lot of fun.

Arizona State Poly Technic is known for having a smaller community feel, where you can get to know your class mates and professors on a one on one basis to become more successful.

My school is most known for its incredible Engineering department. The school has highly advanced equipment which supplements the learning done in the classroom. ASU has one of the most advanced engineering departments anywhere. Along with the equipment provided the engineering staff are also great at their profession and help students with their studies. All you have to do is try your best and ask for help.

The Polytechnic Campus is best known for a hands on learning process. The majority of programs on campus require labs in order to complete projects and are focused on team projects. The class sizes are very small and average a ratio of 12 students to 1 professor. The campus is also smaller so it is very easy to meet people and stay connected because they become your campus family.
