Bard is not financially helpful! With an endowment circling the drain at the end of every year, Bard has little funds to fully assist those who really need the money! Also, this lack of endowment leaves Bard's facilities pretty out-dated. The computer lab functions on two printers and 30 computers and the gym has equipment that most students don't know how to use because it was banned in the 70s. You have to be willing to 'rough' it when you come here because otherwise, you'll spend every day complaining about how this place is going nowhere. Luckily, the aesthetic worth of the school is almost good enough to make all of this mind-boggling flaws meaningless.

There are only like five places to watch cable tv on campus. Also, the registration process for classes sucks. BUT – the relationship between students and the administration is pretty amazing. Everyone loves Bard’s president, Leon Botstein.
