The community. I've met so many people here, and they are my best friends.
Kelsey
The genuinely friendly environment. The majority of the student population are incredibly respectful and warm, and the professors are not only top notch academically, but are great people above all else.

Bethel University provides a place for students to grow and discover themselves in a unique community. This is an isolated zone commonly referred to as the "Bethel Bubble." What is great about this bubble is that it allows students to become comfortable with who they are and develop their beliefs and values before entering into the world.

The best thing about Bethel University are its professors. The professors genuinely care not only about their students passing their class, but also about them as individuals. Their doors are always open for students to ask questions about class material and life in general. They want to develop a relationship with their students not only in but outside of the classroom. I know that if I have questions about absolutely anything I can go to any professors office and they would be glad to help me.
Shana
Faith based learning and life, very community centered, great and loving people, and many hearts searching for truth and self discovery together.

My school is based on community with one another, and integrating our academics with our growth in the relationship with Christ. I feel it is a safe place to open up about struggles in any area of our lives. The people and staff here are not about false exteriors but rather growing with one another to further our development as students, and adults as we go out into the "real world".
Anna
It is a Christian school, that teaches right out of the Bible and trys to encorporate Biblical principles in every class.

The best thing about Bethel Unversity is also it's bane - their "friendly atmosphere." Due to their religious emphasis, Bethel often times focuses on the community aspect of college. Meaning, friendships, Christianity, and a "tight" community are their initial main focus for students. What ends up happening is many other aspects of the college experience is lost (i.e. academic focus). Additionally, students develop a plethora of shallow relationships and lack a long lasting and deep relationship with peers. However, the abundance of shallow relationships makes the campus feel more interconnected.

The best thing about Bethel is that the professors are very involved in the classroom and have a vested interest in the students. I know that my professors have my best interests in mind and have never had any problems with professors being willing to address my concerns. All of the professors that I have studied under thus far have been excellent teachers and role models.
Jessie
I think the best thing about Bethel University is the community here, Bethel really stresses community and that shows from the professor to the factulty and onto the students.
Breanna
I like that all the professors are very personal. I feel comfortable talking to them about anything-not just subject material. It makes the sense of community at Bethel even greater because not only the students are authentic, but the faculty are all authentic Christians who truly care about me and want to help me reach my full potential.
Amalia
The accessibility of professors and that they truely care.
Kayla
The community is great at Bethel.

I consider the best thing about my school to be the people who surround me. Unlike what most of the outside world thinks, Bethel is not a school that is attended by all the best Christian students in the world. It is attended by regular kids, all who want no more than a good education in a setting where they do not have to worry as much about sex, alcohol, and other moral complexities. We are not killjoys, we are people who care about, what we as Christians believe in, our souls.
Samuel
All of the professors are on fire for God and the level of intimacy and trust developed in the dorms is unlike anything I've experienced before. God is here. Bethel provides a positive Christian environment where anyone can develop their relationships with God and with one another. I felt welcome from the minute I came on campus and it feels like home.
Karen
You can find really solid Christian friends here. Your professors are so accomodating to you, too. If you are struggling, they do whatever they can to help you understand the material. Your professors know you by your first name and will acknowledge you in the hallway.
Isaac
On the other hand, most of the students are authentically kind and caring. Most people receive real support when they are honest about their struggles, because the majority of students here are honest enough to admit that we all have problems. So when we make mistakes, we don't hide in shame; we tell those closest to us, and they help us to heal.

I love Bethel's location - close enough to Roseville to complete all of your minor shopping and entertainment needs, but also only 15 minutes from the Twin Cities. Bethel's proximity to downtown offer many opportunities for students looking for jobs, internships, or just entertainment!
Brian
I think the community is the strongest part about this campus. Not only between students, but there is a sense that every staff member, faculty member, and anyone else you come across will be willing to listen and often help you with anything you need. This is very important today where many colleges are so large that you aren't treated as an individual but just one of the masses.
