Biola is best known for being a private christian college in sunny Southern California. It is easy for judgements to quickly be made just based off of those facts. Yet, dig a bit deeper and one will discover that Biola is also known for rigorous academics and outstanding students. As professors push students to look at the world in a bigger way, accept and understand cultures, and achieve their potential, students respond with demonstration of their great work ethic and genuine hearts. Not only was Biola named one of the top schools for best weather, but also for friendliest students.

My school is best known for helping students to grow in Christian faith as well as providing a strong, applicable academic foundation for students when they enter the work world.

Biola is best known for its committment to creating men and women dedicated to making an impact for the Lord Jesus Christ. The university provides an awesome biblical based education that has again and again blown away the expecatations of its small, private school name.

Community, community, community!

Two things: 1. Bridal Institute of Los Angeles, which means that most people find their spouses there. 2. Talbot, which is the theology school.

Our school is best known for being a Christian unversity. Also, our school is known for its phenomenal nursing department.

My school is best known for being a Christian University building up leaders to impact the world for Jesus Christ.

Great atmosphere

Biola University is best known for their biblical classes and wanting the students to strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ. The professors at Biola are wonderful, they pray and care for you and want you to learn and grow.

Biola is a non-denominational christian school that provides an excellent education in nursing, Biblical studies, chemistry, physics; providing all students with the Bible knowledge to go into their future workplace and be a witness for Christ

The amazing christian community Biola has along with amazing teachers and students who all love the Lord and all encourage each other. It is an amazing experience going to biola.

Midnight Madness (Fall Semester) and Missions Conference (Spring Semester) have to be my favorite. You can youtube video's of Biola's Midnight Madness. I love the energy of the students during the time we bring in the Basketball season. Midnight Madness includes performances from XOPOC, competition's for prizes, the introduction of the Sports Teams, a drill between the men and women Basketball's team and at the end, we have a countdown until 12 where everyone rushes onto the basketball court and confetti falls on us. It takes place in November and the start time is the same as the date (i.e. 11/13 = 11:13). Missions Conference is ran by the student body. We have speakers come from all over and performers from all over. There are also workshops outside of the main session and art work and decorations all over campus. We do many things at Biola but, those two are my favorite.

A solid Bibilical Studies department, great staff, and great students as well as equipping student to accomplish their dreams after they have earned an education!

Strong Christian values

I do not know what it is really best known for. What I knew about it was the film department. Also, the many alumis who have wrote many books and are tranforming the world for Christ.

Biola University is best known for a friendly and loving atmosphere. Biola is a place where making lifelong friends is almost a guarantee. Different people will come into one?s path that will be there for counsel, accountability, love, correction, and encouragement. People come together and form bonds that will last longer than a two hours class or four year college tenure. The Eagle community is known for making relationships that go deeper and outlast anything else.

Biola is best known for integrating faith and reason into our studies and later life. Personally as a business major, this works out to an emphasis on ethics, honesty, and running a business to a higher standard than those around us. For example, staying ahead of safety standards, to not play by other countries lower standards of conduct, etc. When we put aside short term personal gain, loyalty from customers and an improved community can be earned over time.
