Anyone who is passionate about their education. However, in order to fit in socially someone who is liberal would enjoy this school the most. It is slightly difficult to describe someone that should attend this school, considering the diversity within this school. Anyone could attend this school, but honestly I feel liberal students enjoy it more.

Creative people, non-conformists. People who know what they want to do with their life, and people who are totally lost. Activists, people who want to change the world. Jugglers, unicyclists, zombies, playwrights, artists, inventors. Dudes. Come to Brown.

If you like to express yourself, Brown is the perfect place to do it. Start your own student group (it's easy) or join one that fights for your cause. It's an amazing place to become active in bettering the world around you. You have to be committed to get by here, but it definitely helps you get in your head what exactly it is you want to do. In essence, the more eccentric and unique you are the better fit you will be for Brown.

People who are intelligent but don't want to be told what to do are the most ideal Brown students. We make our own curricula, and we have no requirements for our time at school. This is extremely beneficial for those who don't really need a lot of academic help, but it can really hurt those students who do. There is not much of a safety net, and some students may fall through the cracks if they don't have what it takes. But for some students, the lack of structure can make the learning experience much more enjoyable.
