What's the most frustrating thing about California State University-San Bernardino?

Michael

The most frustrating part about my school is how full the library gets during finals week. I study in the library everyday now and i like it when it is relatively empty.

This campus has to be one of the largest commuter schools in the IE. With that being said, one of the most frustrating things is the traffic. Staying clost to home, I would never have imagined being late to class would be an issue. As you become more familiar with the area, you will learn all the side routes and the times when it is most impacted. Traffic can be a dilema, but with the right route and plenty of time before hand, this will not be a problem as much as it can be.

The most frustrating thing about my school is the gym. I get really frustrated with the gym because it gets very packed and you have to wait for certain machines. Besides that I am very Happy with the school I attend. So far it has given me a great experience.

It is almost impossible to get general education classes! It is delaying my graduation and I cannot get priority because there are so many international students at my school!

There is very little feeling of togetherness and feeling of belonging to a group. It feels more like a commuter school.

Nothing is really frustrating within CSUSB its such a great school. Except that it's becoming really impacted, with classes and so many people because a lot of people want to attend CSU's.

The most frustrating about my college i would have to say school spirit. Me, my self coming from a high school with extreme school sprirt and it being my first year in college i thought everyone would have school spirit, but it isnt. The most and best school spirit i've seen while attending college is slim to none other than the soar i attened before my fall quarter. Its bad because as a first year student you expect more when it comes to that but it isnt and i stay on-campus.

The budget cuts have forced tuition to be raised which hurts those that had their CalGrant taken away (like me).

Elise

The lack of class sections available sometimes. Sometimes there is only one section for a class or it is only offered once a year. The communication of the school regarding fees, changes to policy, etc. It's not the best and is somewhat slow. Another challenge at this school is the school's focus on changing it's landscaping instead of using that money to hire more qualified teachers or use it inside the classrooms.

jose

I actually haven't attended the school yet not until winter.

Gil

The Budget Cost are increasing the cost for tutuion, which not only affect students enroll, in addtion is affecting transfer students and freshman being accepted.

Considering my undergrad experience, the most frusterating thing about my school is getting others to communicate for my graduation purposes. For instance, I was almost not going to graduate twice just because people in the records and faculty for my degree were not communicating in order for my degree to go through. This also adds on to the problem of budget cuts because so many times did I or others have to push their graduation date because of cancellation or delay of classes. Therefore, I believe a person needs to put a lot of effort and time just to graduate.

Jamie

We keep trying to get an In-N-Out in the food court but they gave us a Denny's. Eww!

Katie

I was in the nursing program and the organization of the nursing curriculum was the most frustrating. Often we did not know when our clinical dates would be or who the instructor would be, making it difficult to plan the quarter around work and family.

Melissa

It's hard to get the classes I want when I want them.

Pakou

The most frustrating thing about my school is, of course the courses, especially registering for them and having to pay more than I'm supposed to, and not even getting all the classes that I want to take as well. It's really frustrating when I don't get the classes that I want to take; but in order to be a full-time student and graduate on time, I would have to take classes that I least want to take just so I would get the units required and I wouldn't be behind.
