There is great programs with a variety of majors and minors. The teachers are great and devoted to their students. Everyone at CSU Stanislaus wants to be at CSU Stanislaus and because of that the atmosphere is a lot better than a highschool environments.

The housing on campus is large, clean and well cared for. Academically advised every semester so I could not get off track.

It is such a friendly and cozy environment. The school is almost like a breath of fresh air :). I enjoy the nature aspect very much. Other school I considered did not feel like home. They felt more like a place to visit, but not necessarily attend. With fountains, ducks, and a calming environment, CSU Stanislaus is just wonderful :)

Stanislaus is close to home. It's friendly, and makes you feel more comfortable. It feels like a second home.

My junior year in high school, I was involved in a program that allowed many students from poor or low-middle class families to travel to different campuses in California. I was given the opportuity to feel the atmospheres of several different schools in California. I chose this school for that exact reason; this school had the atmosphere I was hoping to have in a university. Living eight hours from home, I feared that homesickness would interefer with my schoolwork. However, here, I feel completely confident in pursuing my studies in a warm, comfortable, intellectually progressive, and peaceful environment.

I haven't been to many other University Campuses, but CSU Stanislaus is a beautiful campus with a wonderful faculty whom is always friendly and helpful. When someone is new to a school they feel dumb asking questions they know everyone else knows, or feeling lost. It seemed as though everyone was willing to help me out, and answer my many questions. I felt instantly comfortable.

The campus is gorgeous and the music and art departments are great.

The proximity to my house is what made this university unique compared to the other schools I considered.

It is the most conveniently located to allow me to work and go to school.

It has more lawns than buildings and the ponds. More ducks and geese during the winter too.
