The worst thing about Clarion University is the food. The food is not that horrible, but it is not good either. I think if students pay a lot of money for a meal plan, they should be able to get the best meal.

It's sometimes too small, everybody seems to know everybody

The worst thing about Clarion University is financial aid. Tuition keeps rising and rising every year and it is really hard to afford school now a days especially when you have all kinds of fees you must pay. This is for every college actually, financial aid just is a real downer. it is what makes or breaks you when it comes to getting an education. its unfortunate how many students deserve to get an education but aren't able to continue because of money.

The dining hall is not open on a continuous schedule, the website and student account servers are insanely user unfriendly, but mostly it's the compentance levels that the professors label us with (they assume we're not as intelligent as we really are and teach us as so).

I would say the worst thing about Clarion University is parking. Parking here is horrible if you don't park in the right spot you are sure to get a ticket. sometimes there isn't even a sign that says you can't park there.

I think the worst thing about my school the the bookstore. It likes to over price everything, which stinks because if you need anything its right there in the store on campus. So like you don't have to go off campus to get necessary items, but you have to pay the price for it.

The worst thing would have to be the location, in a small town; but if you have or know someone with a car then you should be okay.
Patrick
The worst thing about Clarion would have to be the hills. It's practicly one big hill! Other than that, Clarion is a great school. The faculty is great. The living environment is fantastic. The student body is amazing. Other than the hills, I would say the food. It's no home cooked meal, and that may be the problem. Home has spoiled us.

There are two distinct things. Firstly, I dislike the lack of activity on campus during weekends. It's not as though the campus doens't make an effort to have things going on. People simply choose to go home on weekends. Most of the problem lies in the fact that we're surrounded by mostly woods and one small town that wouldn't exist were it not for the college. Secondly, it's difficult to find financial aid. This is a small state school that doesn't get budgeted as much as some of the larger ones.

There are not enough professors/classes for every student to get into the classes they need/want.
