Sasha

Sasha, The real world is coming for you whether you like it not. High school is truly the best time of your life and I want you to cherish it. Go out, dance untiil you collapse, get drunk, do stuff you wont remember in the morning, play obnoxious games, sleep but dont forget to send off the acceptance check. Okay? Because honey once you get to college all the bad behavior must ease and decease. There will be no more fun. There will be no more sleep except for on the hour long train ride of course. There will be no time for anything but school work and work so if I were you and I am. I would get all the fun out of my body. Take as many pictures as possible, write about these great nights, and tuck it away deep in the closets of your soul and get ready to focuus on the beginning of your education. Remember I love you and I'll always be there waiting to come back out.

I don't have many complaints due to the fact that I have taken the safe and money savy choice for school. When I graduate I plan on have no student loans. This is something that many people at my age don't take into consideration but this from my choice of college and degree. I am quite happy with how things turned out and hope for a wonderful year ahead. Just trying to make it like everyone else!

If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior about college life and the transition based off of what I know now, I would first off listen to my peers. I would listen to my high school councilers advice on staying at the University of Cincinnati, ang continuing in ther college prep classes. I would live on campus all the way to my junior year of college. I woud stay the way I am, and keep to myself to focus more on what is important, rather than letting the college life take advantage of my social mind. I would also go back to my Upward bound program and give more speeches and advice to the lower class, on how to prepare and not allow guys/girls interupt thei academics. I would maybe get more involved in highschool so that it would help out once in college. I would get more interacted in the school prep rallys, sports, clubs, and other after school events. Last but least I would enjoy the assistance I received from Upward Bound College prep program at the University of Cincinnati.
