I LOVE COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON!

Jordan

College is the best time of your life, so live it up and experience as much as you can before you enter the "real world." CofC offers tons of opportunities to meet new people and become familiar with Southern Culture. The school challenges each student, strangers become your family, and you will leave each school year wishing it wasn't over yet... One last thing...Freshmen do not take Freshmen seminar. It is a waste of time. Its not an easy A, it is only 2 credits, and does not count toward any major. All around it is a pointless class.

Best looking girls in the area go here. You need to visit campus on a spring day when classes are in session. Man o man.

It might just be my personal experience but I feel like the relationship between friends is different from what I am used to...I don't really have like any best friends, a few close friends but nothing like at home. I have dozens of acquaintances though, people when you bump into you'll just say whatsup but not ever really hang out with. I think the thing that pisses me off most other than not having a best friend is how much people smoke weed here. Just about everyone I know smokes and a lot of people that smoke weed several times on a daily basis.

Take the time to get to know people from the citadel as well... I know it may seem kinda intimidating at first. But they are really great people and love to have just as much fun as the c of c student body. If you hear any rumors about cadets being stalker or whatever, that's a myth. they are great guys and really complete C of C.

Include the fact that you can really walk anywhere downtown.. Also although it might go "against" CofC, allow people to know the mass of opportunity for "out of dorm living conditions. The real estate downtown(within 2-6 blocks from campus) is often more affordable than the dorms. Seeing how CofC just increased the upper classmen tier of dorms to $810 a month (and will keep increasing it), when students find 2-5 other students to lease a house its more affordable for parents/students and pretty much gaurantee a better living condition.
