I hate the CSU parking, also hate the stupid campus police. They have nothing better to do but to cause trouble. Also what is the deal with girls driving on campus? Im walking through a cross walk and this girl floors it to make a turn almost creaming my ass. wtf?

I think that the CSU should reconsider raising tuition rates in order to splurge more money on our athletic dept. That money needed to be earned and I don't think they did enough to be rewarded.

I love CSU, it's a great place to figure out who you are and who you want to be.

CSU isnt really anymore unique than anyother school, but it works for the thiousands enrolled in it. I dont believe it leaves anyone out and we accept all just like it should be.

I really like CSU. I am glad that I transfered here. I just wish I would of known what I wanted to do earlier. It is way better to be prepared and know what you wanna do and how to go about that process. It is also a great idea to meet with your advisor even after you declare a major so they can help you through the process of college. It gets a bit overwhemling at times, but it goes by fast. Just stay focused, even if you hate a class, because its easy to bring your gpa down but hard to bring up!

Final advice - make sure you take some time to explore the area around campus. Norman really has a lot to offer for dining, nightlife and shopping. Even a little jaunt north to campus corner will put you within skipping distance to great restaurants like La Luna (huge margaritas and free queso!), Victoria's (homemade pasta/Italian), Café Plaid (great sandwiches, soups and salads), Othello's (Italian food and the occasional open mic comedy night), Turquoise Café (to-die-for brunch) and Hideaway Pizza (try the Pizza of the Gods). Don't miss happy hour at The Library (the bar, not the building), warm nights are best spent on the patio at The Mont, and give Opie's a chance. I promise you'll have fun dancing the night away to retro hits as long as you've had enough to drink.
