Concordia University-Texas Top Questions

What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about Concordia University-Texas?

Marissa

It is a small school where people actually care about you and know who you are.

Christian

The social environment is probably the school's best quality. There is so much community and support from the people here that it helps make friends for any new students. There are groups for every kind of person so fitting in isnt hard, and even if you dont find a perfect group to hang with you still feel accepted. Student life provides several activities and intramural sports to get involved in throughout the year and if you have a recommendation they try to add it in (I asked for intramural paintball and they did it the next semester)

The campus is absolutely beautiful. It creates a wonderful atmosphere for learning. Whether you're in the library on a cold winter day or your outside on the observation deck in the spring, Concordia is a wonderful place to continue your education. The classes are small so you get the one on one interaction with your professors that you wouldn't recieve at most schools.

Ross

I tell them about the class size. The largest class at Concordia is only 35 people and most of them don't even get that full!

Katie

The beauty of our campus. All the bulidings have been redone or just built last year since Concordia Texas was moved from its old location in central Austin, to a north Austin location. We are now on a wildlife preserve with beautiful scenery, especailly from the dorms. The dorms are wonderful! They were built last year and I was one of the first to live in them. With a microwave and minifrig in everyone as well as a private bathroom with a tub and shower for each room!

Lauren

I love love love the professors. They all care so much about teaching and about all of the students in their classes and their success.

andrew

beuatiful campus and helpful teachers

Adam

Small class sizes, advanced career opportunities, huge nature preserve

Stephanie

Academic challenge.

Hannah

The smallness of it all. Less people in classes makes it way easier to communicate with profs and the profs actually get to know you sometimes.
