I wish I would've known how precious an education is. In high school I feel like no one ever told me to treat it like a job and what I did there could affect the rest of my life. I see a lot of kids squander opportunity just to be the class clown. I'm not saying being funny isn't a good thing but grades are important if you want to get ahigher education. But now that I'm here I'm thankful for all the hard work!

The accesibility to women is about to become 10x more accessible. Try not to put yourself into situations where you could end up alone with another girl because that is just asking for things to go south. Stay strong with your faith and remember that it does end up getting better. Its hard to stop once youve started but if you can stay clear of getting involved with a girl then life will go much smoother and risk free. Keep your personal life struggle in the past and start fresh. These are good people here, theyll help you stay strong.

I wish I would have known that small isn't necessarily better. It can be hard to get the classes you need because they are only offered at certain times and you might have other required classes at the same time. Also, classes fill up really fast so you have to be quick to make your schedule.

Most of how the school is portrayed fits it well. I went to a large high school - 2600 people. Currently CTX only has 800 traditional undergrad students. There is a big difference in the class size. Although it can be a good thing to know everyone and what not, it also has its disadvantages from being so small.

To get involved in everything early in the school year.

It's not going to be like church camp. Not everyone is that nice, and not everyone is a Christian. Not that that's bad. Just unexpected.
