The worst part about attending Covenant College is the location. Though it is beautiful, it takes 10-15 minutes just to get off the mountain to visit downtown. For those that do not have a car, this makes it impossible to leave campus.

The lack of diversity and money it takes to go there.

The worst thing about Covenant is probably their records and aministration offices. It is a huge struggle to stay on top of classes and bills. The records office is not efficient in processing major/minor changes which creates many problems when students register for classes. The Administration and Accounting offices always have holds on student's accounts, which are difficult to remove in short periods of time (Bills not paid, chapels not attended, etc.)

I think that as a Christian school we talk a lot about how to interact with each other and serve each other as brothers and sisters of Christ. I know that as a student here I would love to have more opportunities to go down the mountain and serve but sometimes this becomes difficult when there is not an easy means of transportation. Being on a mountain makes us a little bit secluded and I think it would be nice to be able to interact with families and communities more frequently.

The weather, but that is something the school can't control.

Though it has not been an overbearing or direct problem for me, there are a lot of rules and regulations. It has been frustrating to abide by open dorm hours, parking hierarchy, and conduct contract. However, these rules are set in place for good reason. They are not hard to abide by, just annoying at times.

The worst part of Covenant is that the small environment and secluded location fosters some insularity which leads to ignorance of some political and cultural issues.

THe worst thing about Covenant in my opinion is the required practical service. Every student has to do an hour of practical service a week or fifteen a semester. The jobs include cleaning and monitoring the gym. But mst of the practical service jods are mundane and do not really fulfill their purpose; which is to lower the costs of running the school. I ask people all the time about their practical service and every freshman I talk to thinks their job is pointless. This is the worst thing at Covenant in my opinion.

In my oppinion, the worst thing about my school can also be the best thing, its small student body. I came from a very diverse high school and miss the environment very much. I think my college is in need of more diversity.
