Being a mom of three and the last two still in high school and a mom who started college when her eldest child did a year in half ago is hard work but I am doing it. My school emphasizes a growth in knowledge, the understanding of the world and different cultures, and the kind of education that will make people what they believe to be well-rounded and educated. They help me by supporting me. I am dedicated and passionate for what I am studying. College has help me set rules for myself by setting time aside for studying and devoting my time to being a good student and willing to learn new things. Listening to the information being taught helps to become an intellectual listener, which I have obtained from my classes. My hard work will pay off with the ability to understand new concepts and ideas. I am a wife, mother, and employee who is devoted to studying to better my career and help support my family. I have learned to not give up when times are hard with homework or when the deadline is approaching.

Since beginning my degree program, I have gained a respect for myself and a self confidence that I did not previously have. I was the first female in my family to graduate from high school and the first person to attend college. As a new mother, starting this new trend is very important to me. I want my daughter to also graduate from high school and attend college, only I wish for her to attend college immediately after high school, rather than waiting eight years to do so. I am proud to be a positive role model for my daughter. For this reason, I believe that my college experience has been invaluable.

one of the first things i would tell myself is to not jump into things so fast. plan things out and think before you do something. i would also tell myself to save more money.and don't get so stressed out and upset when things get hard, because your learning and growing from every experience you have. and just remember that life is what you make it, so make it good, and work as hard as you can. everything will be worth it when your done.
