Most people think Davidson students never stop working. I'm not sure but I also think that it sometimes gets the prep school reputation.

That we are all wealthy, white southerners. That we're conservative. That we are workaholics.

Some people think Davidson students have to be the children of alumni, wealthy, and/or very smart. On campus, students have a reputation of being stressed out but always willing to keep working.

Polos and pearls. All type-A: work hard, play hard. Extremely involved in community service. White. Christian.

We are absurdly friendly, preppy, and we work really really hard.

Preppy, rich, homogeneous, snobby, southern, pretentious, studious, smug.

I think there are some stereotypes that we are ridiculously conservative and typically southern, but in some sort of bad sense. I would say most people think Davidson is a relatively wealthy school with students who don't know how to relax and enjoy themselves because they're too busy studying.

There is a stereotype that Davidson has a ridiculous amount of work with impossible grading standards. There is also the stereotype that the students are very snobby and have an undue sense of entitlement.

That all Davidson students are uptight workaholics. That Davidson is really preppy and full of snobby rich kids. That Davidson has a ballin' basketball team.

Some common stereotypes of Davidson College are that students have 1)too much work and 2)students are obsessive about grades and are super competitive.

That we study all the time and don't ever par-tay.

That they work all the time, don't have any fun, and are WASPy

I would say the biggest stereotype is that Davidson is a nerdy college without much social life and students who do nothing but homework.
