El Centro College Top Questions

What do you consider the worst thing about El Centro College? Why?

Kendall

The worst thing about attending a community college, in my brief experience at this school, is that a disturbingly large percentage of my peers seem to have enrolled due to some feeling that it is what they are "supposed to do," rather than choosing to go to school as a result of a great inner desire to learn. These students simply do not try very hard. Many of them are obviously smart, and it sometimes makes me sad that they are attending classes at a time when they are not really ready. I hope they find that spark in themselves.

I would consider the worst thing about the school is the registration proccess, there are so many ins and outs. Information can sometimes be conversed wrongly and told differently by more then one person. It can sometimes be hard to register because there are mulitple colleges listed, to me it is very tedious.

I would say that the worst thing about my school is that I have to pay for parking everyday I go to class. It is also difficult to find a good parking spot. Not to mention, the elevators take forever, and when you are going up 8 or 9 floors the stairs aren't the fastest choice.
