If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior I would tell myself to stay the course I've already traveled. My choice to not attend college right after graduation lead me to a career in restaurant management, which is how I met my husband. That was followed by my two children, who are now my motivation to return to school. My family has given me a strong sense of purpose and have reignited a passion for learning that I didn't posses 10 years ago when I was a grad. I needed to let my life happen the way that it did in order to learn the importance of an education for our family's financial stability. I made the right choice and don't regret a thing. I'm hoping that my returm to school will one day inspire my children to find their path in their own lives, including a great education in whatever field of study they may choose.

If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a senior, I think I would tell myself to have a little more fun and learn that I am not perfect. When I was in high school, I was very focused on my grades and refused to do anything social. I was a perfectionist and got top marks in all of my classes. I did not even go to my senior prom. I would tell myself that college life is a lot harder than high school, and I would not be perfect in college ? I learned that when I got an 89{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} in a class. Maybe if I accepted the fact that I wasn?t perfect when I was in high school, I could have enjoyed it a little more. In high school, I could have still kept my grades up and participated in the social aspects it had to offer, but in college, I find it a lot harder to have time to do anything but concentrate on my studies. So the thing I would tell myself when I was a senior is to try hard, but try to also have some fun.
