Ferris State University Top Questions

Anyone not willing to give more than their best in order to reach beyond the boundaries of their desired industry.

I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn, and become successfull.

You should not attend this school if you aren't serious about your area of study (i'm apart of Kendall College of Art and Design at Ferris State University in Grand Rapids). A lot of work and dedication is required.

One who wants to constantly be in the action of a big city

A person who cannot take responsibility for his actions. There are a lot of distractions with partying and activities at Ferris, and nobody is going to make you do what you need to do in order to succeed. That is up to you.

Someone who is not ready for cold temperatures of Big Rapids. This is a small city, rural type of city, if you are looking for "big city" action, you find it here.

Someone who is looking sports teams that are nationally known. The only Div I sport FSU has is hockey. Also, if looking for a large city feel of campus, do not come here because this is a small town.

A lazy person should not attend this school.

The kind of person that should not attend this school is the kind of person that gets bored easily. Dont get me wrong Ferris is a great school, not too big not too small, but it is in the middle of no where. There is not much to do. If you enjoy big towns, a variety of stores and eateries, this is not the place for you. You need to be satisfied with a SuperK, Walmart and the local bowling alley. Also you need to actually enjoy cold and snow. The winters are brutal.

I don't see any reason for someone to not attend this school
