In DC so a lot of internships
Colin
Its location at the heart of the nation's capital gives a unique connection to the outside world. Students are able to be simultaneously involved in a fraternity, an LGBT group, and have an internship on Capitol Hill. The school is extremely accepting of different types of students and nobody feels out of place. The enormous financial aid packages don't hurt, either.
Ashley
We have a school of International Affairs. Our program is highly ranked and unique as it allows for specialization.
Jonelle
The city environment is one of a kind.
Samuel
It's one of the most diverse and politically active schools in the nation as well as being the most expensive.
Madelyn
George Washington is more diverse than any of the others i considered in manh ways, including diversity of the students and of campus activities. Also, the location of George Washington is extremely desirable, only couple of blocks away from the White House, and allows students to get jobs on Capitol Hill and to take advantage of the fuln neighborhoods like Georgetown, Adams Morgan, and Dupont Circle.

IT IS AN AMAZING SCHOOL ESPECIALLY IN EDUCATION FIELD
Erik
Location. It's better than Georgetown for location, internships, partying, everything. Can't beat it.
Ashleigh
DC is the most amazing blend between campus and city. There is definitely a campus feel but you are part of something bigger. It isn't as diverse as it might seem, but there is a place for everybody. Work hard, don't cheat, and it will pay off.
Jacqueline
great opportunities available in the city and any kind of club/organization imaginable to get involved in
Rhiannon
It is a very urban campus, it doesn't have the typical "quad" or area where students gather. It is just a few blocks from the White House and other DC tourist spots. This school is home to some of the most politically active and passionate young people I have ever met. Everyone has a interest that they are very informed about and involved with. The classes are intersting and have great professors who have done lots of interesting research in their fields. Also, GW offers a VERY diverse student body from all across the US and world.
Jordan
It is very politically active and being in the middle of DC brings so much opportunity to the table.
Leanna
Living right in Washington, DC is an incredible opportunity. Our professors are experts in their field with practical experience working for the government or other DC based organizations. The city also provides access to many internships.
Ben
If you like politics or the government, there is no shortage of internships available. Also, you're smack dab in the middle of one of the biggest cultural centers on the eastern seaboard, so there's plenty to do if you've got money and a fair amount to do if you don't.
Heather
George Washington University is for the student that wants to seize the oppurtunities throughout the city, internships, job offers, real-hands on experience out in the real world. GWU gives students a very firm grasp of the real world and career choices for graduates, it give you alot of oppurtunites to succeed outside of the classroom or lecture hall.
John
Living in Washington DC a couple blocks from the White House is surreal. The city is an amazing assett.

Students here, especially in comparison to other schools, are extremely driven and extremely political. Since we are in DC, we draw a lot of people who are interested in politics and international affairs. GW is also unique in that DC draws a lot of famous public figures, (such as the Dalai Lama, the Pope, and Hilary Clinton in the past year), to appear on campus or by campus. GW students are provided with constant opportunities to see such figures speak.
Merrill
The city campus, the opportunity for internships, the alumni network, unique professors
Katrina
What's most unique about my school is that there are countless opportunities to learn both in and out of the classroom due to what both the university and the city has to offer. A student can also find any type of student club or organization imaginable on this campus.
Caitlyn
The fact that it is in downtown DC. We have access to so much; the State Department and the White House are just a few blocks from campus; the IMF and World Bank are literally on our campus. We have the entirety of DC at our disposal. Unlike Georgetown, we have a metro stop on our campus which allows for easy access to much of the city, including Capitol Hill and K Street, where a lot of the non-profit and lobbying organizations have headquarters. We also have access to the Library of Congress for research.
