We are located in the heart of downtown Washington, DC, which is close to everything that is cool and fun in the city, and also allows you to intern at really cool places while in school.

The school offers the most advantageous professional connections through their alumni network, internships, and job opportunities on and off campus than any other university of its size and quality.

Being able to visit the Capitol, the National Mall, all the Monuments, walk past the White House every day, etc. DC is an amazing city with activities for anyone and everyone.

I love the fact that despite GW's reputation for being a "rich kid" school, the majority of the student body is perfectly normal and down to earth. I feel that the GW community is very sophistocated, fun, and liberal. There is no pressure to be anyone besides the person who you already are because people are extremely accepting of each other regardless of cultural background, sexual orientation, interests, etc. It is a very diverse school in a very central location. I go to college with amazing people from all over the world and that's an experience in itself.

I tell my friends about how easy the school is. How i have really high grades in all my subjects and find that school is really easy. In addition, i brag about my social life and how much it has flourished. I really have made alot of friends and i like to let people know that when they ask me.
Lisa
It's location. The DC area is fascinating and is really the only reason I haven't transfered yet.

1. Despite the cost, the financial aid is so great here (guaranteed and almunus grants), that I pay less to go here than it would be to attend NYU or even my local public college.
2. I get to do and see things I never thought I would have access to: I saw the Pope in his visit to DC from my library, I work with a development agency teaching within DC public schools about Human Rights; I have a job 10 min. from my dorm; I study for spring exams on the national mall.
Samuel
I brag that I live just blocks from The White House and have gotten to meet a ridiculous amount of very important, over paid people.
Andrew
