Jennifer

Jennifer, it's not as bad as you thought. Teachers arn't like what they were in high school, here they want you to suceed, they want to see you through. Here you can fail miserably or you can suceed gracefully. School isn't about having the highest GPA or the lowest, because remember, the person who went to law school who graduated with the highest GPA and the person who graduated with the lowest are BOTH LAWYERS. It's not about the titles you can gain, its about the experiances that go with them. You can fight your nature but it all comes full circle. College is never the wrong choice, get up, forget about all the money you think is a waste for application fees and do it, go to school experiance life and don't look back and wonder what if, I did, and I am starting over for the third time in my life, it's not as hard as one would think. Be Madonna reinvent yourself and find your path take out the loans and see the world, you only live once, remember life is precious.

I would have told myself what classes to take first and what my study schedual should be like so that I would not have wasted so much time trying to balance my personal life with my school life and school work. Second I would have told myself what major really wanted to take as I have changed my major 3 times since first enrolling in school. Last of all I would have explained that the majority of people are not from the surrounding or local area and that there are a variety of different beliefs on a college campus unlike high school where students for groups of people based on petty things like how much money you have or how popular you are. In college none of that matters anymore instead it is all about who you are and your friends will be people who have similar interests. Never having to try to fit in will be the biggest thing to tell myself and assuring that I will have many friends who will look out for me and be by my side is the greatest piece of knowledge that I would tell myself.

Try to get as many college credits as possible, that way it takes less time to get through.
