A person that shouldnt attend Howard University is someone who is looking for a very large state school with a large campus with plenty of resources and different races, be able to be who they are without constantly being judged, and where the school doesnt revolve around Greek Life.

Howard University is a Historically Black College or University, so anyone who is not ready to be submerged in a rich African-American based learning environment need not apply. Unlike many other schools where the diversity is mainly between different classes and races of Americans, Howard's diversity is world wide. There are many international students that bring their ideologies, cultures, and experiences to the university which makes it a great networking school for business and medical majors. Someone who does not want to be introduced to many world views should not attend this school.

The type of person that should not attend this school would be someone who is not open minded and willing to gain new experiences. Also, because it is an HBCU, its not advisable for someone who is uncomfortable around African Americans to enroll in a school like Howard.

People who don't have any sense of drive or ambition should not attend here. Everybody here has to work hard to be successful whether it is academically, career-wise, or to be in a social organization. If you aren't prepared to work, then Howard is not the school for you.
