I think the type of person that should attend this school should have a positive attitude and an open mind. There are so many opportunities and at Iowa State, and it is really important to have a good head on your shoulders and do things that make you happy.

I think that anybody is willing to better their education would fit in great at Iowa State. We are dominantly seen as and Agriculture and Engineering school, but you can study pretty much anything you want to. If you have a negative attitude about school, and are only going to college so your parents will get off your back, then Iowa State is not for you.

Anyone who is willing to get out there and enjoy life and get involved. For Iowa State is a very active place and there is always something you could go do.

The people who should attend this school are those who are excited to get to know new people. Iowa State has so many fun clubs! No matter what your interests are, there's a club for you. I wish I had joined more as a freshman. The people who attend this school should also be academically oriented. Although there are some classes (mostly lower level) that can be easily passed, getting a good GPA will set you apart from the people who skimmed by on barely passing grades in their first years.

The kind of person that should attend Iowa State University is a person who is driven and wants to be successful. Iowa State turns out the best in fields of engineering and agriculture and is great for other majors too, such as business and design and the professors are always willing to help. Iowa State is also great for students looking into joining a greek community. Our greek community has been ranked the best in the nation. The social scene here is also top notch, between VEISHEA and Homecoming, you can't lose!

The kind of person that should attend this school is someone who likes to be challegned and be hard working. If you want to be able to be invoved in the many different organizations while also maintaining a good GPA you must be able to be hard working. Also someone who likes a big school with a variety of small and big class sizes. If you want an adventure Iowa state is the place for you. At Iowa State there are many different majors and you can also study abroad at numerous places around the world.

Iowa State is an ubeat community with a homey feel. The type of person attending this school needs to be willing to meet new people and face large group settings. They need to have the ability to do things for themselves and have spirit for their cyclone teams. A positive attitude and a willingness to try new things is also helpful because the school has such a different feel from most others; it is relaxing and spirited at the same time. A cyclone needs a lot of heart and passion.

I believe there is not a right "kind" of person who should attend this school. Here at Iowa State we don't discriminate against age, race, sex, sexual orientation, and what major you are going to study. If you have the right grades, are interested in a program and want to start your adventure at Iowa State University you are more than accepted to do so.

I think that anyone who wants to be around people who genuinely care and are considerate in everyday situations should come to Iowa State. Iowa State's culture is fantastic; I love how people are so kind and nice. The school is incredible-- the school wants students to succeed and provide the means necessary to succeed. Professors, advisors, other students, and faculty all work to enrich the atmosphere and the quality of the education that we are paying for.

Any type of person could ideally attend Iowa State University. If you have the drive, determination, will, and ambition to do your best then you will fit right in. Whether you come from small town, a large city, or anywhere in between, you will not feel like an outsider. Everyone here at ISU is so welcoming and friendly that I feel it would be almost impossible to feel like you do not fit in here. ISU does a great job of making each student feel as if they belong here no matter what.

Any type of person will fit in here because ISU is such a diverse campus.

I think everyone could find a place at ISU. There are so many majors and activities to get involved in so I think that anyone would be able to have a fantastic adventure at Iowa State. The people are so welcoming and there is just such a sense of community here.
