Take your self serious but not so serious that you don't have a good time your senior year. With that you need to understand that standing on your own two feet and finally realizing that who you are, and what you want to become in life, falls on your shoulders once you graduate from high school. Too many times we just want to have fun our senior year. Taking my education to another level has now shown me that I should have taken my education in high school more serious. Studying more and having better time managment skills would have been a huge plus. Become more involved in activies so that when you go to college you feel good enough about yourself to participate in many of the extracurricular activities that are offered. Reach out to your teachers and others for help when you have trouble understanding your classes. Try to have a better balance of school, work and play. Again, once you get to college, only you can make sure you have a good balance of all three. Spend more time with your family. Family is the biggest thing you miss while living in the dorm!
