It has career based programs that other schools don't. It is an upside down curriculum so you get to take classes from your major as soon as you enter the school.

It's extremely career-driven and only requires a small amount of gen. ed. courses unlike other schools that require more of the material you don't need/want. It's a city campus.

You declare your major before you enter as a freshman, so the first trimester of classes you take are geared toward your major. Pre-reqs are spread throughout the classes that actual interest you so the first two years aren't boring.

My school is a culinary and a buisness school with 4 seperate campuses around the country. My school is also a trade school and grades were not as important in high school Vey fun school and campus.

There are so many different sprts, clubs and activities for students to be involved in. I ahve gone to two other colleges they were not as focused on exposes students to activities that will benefit students in the future. Most of the professors at this school are willing to help you if you are having a hard time evenif it is on their own time. The culinary professors all have passion about teaching and their students careers.

I like the fact that in our sophmore and senior year we are required to do an internship for a term in the school year to gain experience. And the school assist students with finding locations across the country and even international for a place to gain work experience.

At orientation you can stay over for the weekend and eat dinner with actual professors. I thought this was a great to of getting to know someone who I can already go to for help.

This school compared to other schools, classroom size is a maximum of forty students if your on the downtown campus. When your on the harborside campus and working in the kitchen the chefs there are hands on with the students and have a small enough student base maximum of twenty students so they can get a chance to work with each student.

It's one of the only schools around that let's me take my major. They offer classes and labs that no other school does. They open you eyes to new experiences, and they are very in touchwith 'the industry'. Even the teachers have all worked in the field, and they bring that experience to the table.

providence is a lot of fun. and we dont actually have a campus. its in the middle of a city and nothing is connected, there are no boundaries, its like providence in general is my campus
