It is not hard to meet a friend. People usually come up to new students and show them around as well as show them what the school has to offer. There is also tons of beautiful nature to explore and study in. Every place that you look on my campus is a marvel.

Its is unfortunate that most of the faculty in the art department are combative instead of nurturing. Yes, life is combative sometimes but if you don't nurture a young mind, as well as challenge it, you will be doing them a huge dis-service. It is a lot of money to spend on tuition just to be beaten down all the time. They don't like to have their ideals challenged and if you do they make your life a living hell on campus. It made my experience at this college very unpleasant, to the point of hating every minute of it.

Knox college is a well binded school, meaning that the atmosphere here is amazing. The campus here is also gorgeous mostly because of the size and the homeliness of everybody here.

It's an interactive and diverse environment for people looking to step out of the box. Here, you're free to be youself and make your own college experience!

The size of the school and the individual attention that is given to the students.

I entered Knox thinking it was going to be a life-changing experience, but that was most certainly not the case. I encountered teachers who were arrogant, students who were self-absorbed, and a culture of drug and alcohol abuse that was excused by the administration. When people on my floor were selling drugs and partying late into the night (when people had class the next morning) the RA and higher authorities simply turned a blind-eye to the problems. I left Knox after my first term there and am incredibly happy at my current university. If you are convinced Knox will open the door to an enlightening experience and strong academic environment you are being horribly mislead. Please, don't make the same mistake I did.

There is such a great social connection between students and their professors. No one falls into a social status because of their class, race or wealth and everyone is very welcoming and always willing to help you and answer your questions. The student-teacher relationship is also very loose as teachers are willing to get to know their students on a personal level and also open themselves up to students to create a strong and trustworthy relationship; I have never been afraid to go to my teachers for help or ask an upperclassman a question.

Green Oaks biology field station!!!!! It rocks my life. So do the professors here. You can be completly goofy and be serious about classes.

It is very small, but not too small and has a very close-knit community that is always open to new things especially environmentally-friendly things.

Everyone can be anyone they want to and still be excepted.

I arrived at Knox College in September having never seen the campus before, not knowing anyone, and being 1200 miles away from my family, and yet I was able to find friends and activities within days. Knox students are friendly and eager to help. Knox staff is willing to work with students and they care about what is going on with their students. The Knox community is open and protective and nurturing, and it was easy to adjust to the college life. I have a lot of friends in college right now and they tell me that it's hard to go from living with people you know to living on your own in a community where you are a complete stranger. I agree. The Knox community make that transition that much easier.

I am happy I chose Knox, for it has made me realize the truest values that are important in today's global world.

Knox is a trimester school with three terms. There is a 6.5 week long winter break(thanksgiving-new years).

Knox is a boring college. Knox students will deny that and tell you different, but remember what Knox students are. I would give Knox a 1.3 out of 10 points party-wise. It just sucks.

Knox is small, but if you can handle that, it offers countless opportunities for growth, both socially and intellectually.

This school really has changed my life for the better. If I could go back and do it all over again, I would choose Knox in a heartbeat. I loved the school and I love Knox Football. The one thing I would do different is I would participate in more that the school has to offered, such as going to speakers and readers.
