I think what makes Marywood great is the students. Since we are a smaller school we have the ability to not only make great friendships, but also to have a say in what goes on at our school. It is very easy to become involved, whether you live on or off campus. Campus is a very welcoming place to be. Despite our small size, there is always a great student turnout at sporting events, volunteer programs, and campus activities. No matter where you go, you will always see a familiar face, but also see new faces and make new friends.

Marywood, was my first choices and my only choice when I got excepted here I was so happy. The reason I pick Marywood was it was close to home, I love the campus it so pretty. With my learing disiplity, I there are people here to help me. I am apart of the Act 101 program here at Marywood, Sister Agnes Mary Devitt would bend backwards for you if she could. That what I love about Marywood everyone is like that, and that why I picked Marywood.

Its student to teacher ratio. There is one teacher for every 20 or so students makes working and learning easier.

Best thing about the college campus is the surrounding area. Shopping area is close by and also parks too.

Students at Marywood have the best of both worlds, the suburban town of Dunmore and the city of Scranton. The town of Dunmore offers everyday conveniences such as grocery stores and pharmacies while Scranton offers a nightlife, shopping, and entertainment. Both can be reached by the Smartbus provided at no cost for Marywood students. I really enjoy the location because I feel at home and safe in a residential neighborhood but can also access the many opportunities the city of Scranton provides. Marywood is safe, friendly, and has plenty to do!

The best thing about my school would have to be the neatness and respect. Most people are very respectful towards others. I love that my school is clean and people are kind.
