I think the worst thing about Minnesota State University Moorhead is the Book Buyback program. Yes, it's wonderful that they even have the program in the first place, but the amount of money a student gets from selling his/her book back to the school at the end of the semester is usually a huge rip off. I've spent about $70 on a textbook before, and they offered to buy it back for roughly $6. College students need all the money they can get, and once they hear that, it really lets them down.

I am not sure there is really a worst thing about MSUM. For me I dislike taking classes on-line but it is a nice way to take classes. I guess I really dislike classes that start before 9 am. I would rather take classe from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Location location location. The Fargo/Moorhead area is basically a natural wind tunnel. There's LOTS of wind. The winters also get very cold- about 20 degrees colder than my home which is 20 minutes away from the Twin Cities area. And let's not forget the floods that come once a year. The place gets really cold and really wet. Fargo/Moorhead is not a very pretty place either. It's acutally pretty ugly. Everything is gray or beige and it's not very pretty.

The weather would be the worst thing about the school because it is very cold in the winter. The snow, wind, and wind chill tend to wear on you over time. Being close to a river that floods also made for an interesting spring.

The worst part about my school is that it does not have a very chirstian based enviorment. This is bad becase that means there are a lot of parties that go on, on campus which makes for a bad social seeting for me.

I think the worst thing about my school is how they are very tough about paying your bills, even when you can't get a loan they will not help you.

It's hard to think of something that I consider to be the "worst" quality of my school, as most of it is personal opinion. I dislike some of the classes I have to take because of the Dragon Core, which is also considered to be generals. I would prefer to take less generals and take more classes of my major. This resentment towards the general classes, however, can be expereinced at most colleges.

That enrollment is declining. Because of this many positions have been cut and there is less availability for on-campus work.

The lack of knolweged and information the counclier and advisors have, I have two and a half years done and I havn't got any good advise to this day from any of them. Everything I have leared has been from the teachers and students and my own reasearch. I think every counclor should have to go through training from every department and progam the shcool offers. Not having a clear path on your degree makes college very frustration especilly when transfering because we as studends know that every college is looking to get more money, anyway possible!

There really is not a lot to complain about when it comes to the MSUM campus, however our food services have been undergoing some changes over the past year or two, and I don't think the Sodexo company has fully met the demands and requests of the students at this time. Meals are often repeated too often and the hours for the dining hall are very limited (with no current meal exchange program with the other food sites on campus available). I have personally heard the most complaints about this issue during my time on campus.
