It's an easy school to get into for students that hadn't been in school for several years, namely non-traditional students that are just now attempting to finish their education.

A big part of the reason I chose Missouri Western is the enclosed campus. Since I am a freshmen I have to live on the dorms, and the campus buildings are all close together so it is an easy enjoyable walk to class every morning. The atmosphere of college was very important to me when choosing where I wanted to go.

At Missouri Western, I imediately fell in love with campus. It is beautiful. Not only is the campus a beautiful place though the academics are incredible. The classes are smaller than some other schools I had looked at and I feel that the professors really care. I can talk to them, and recieve help on my class projects from tutors in the campus library. I also love the enviroment of the dorms. Everyone is friendly and making it easy to make friends and recongnize RAs. Over all Missouri Western is just an amzing place to live and go to school.

It has great accomodations for both residents and commuters. It also has a broad range of programs that propel students to success instead of just one or two specialties. It is big enough that you don't feel stuck, but small enough that it isn't a chore to walk to class.

Study study study! Be prepared to read for the sake of pop quizzes. Get to know your professors and what they will and won't allow. Try not to miss too many classes because it it helps you in crunch time with your instructor. It looks better on you. And dont take anyone else's experiences to heart. College is a personal experience, and no one or their story can prepare you for it. . Always remember what you are at collge for. Nothing is more important than your degree and future success. Stay focused!
