I tell my friends that we are one of the top engineering schools in the country as well as one of the top veterinary schools. I also brag about how awesome our facilities are and how we are building up and expanding for the better.

When I brag to my friends, I tell them about how the student atmosphere is on campus. I tell them that I always feel at home whether I am at a sporting event, going to class, or relaxing in my room. This has allowed me to thrive academically and socially as I have begun a new chapter in my life.

NC State takes sustainability to the next level by heating the campus through hydropower. Alsong with that the school has one of the best libraries in the nation that offers so many valueble resources to the students and is very technologically advanced. NC State truely cares about it's students and offers so many different activities for people to get involved in while they are here.

Our library. James Hunt Library is a brand new library build on centennial is a state of the art library, with a huge amount or resources for students and a variety of study areas. It is a fantastic place to study, as it has several study rooms with whiteboard walls, and large monitors that students can hook their laptops up to for displaying things. It has an automated "book bot" which is used to fetch books for students in an underground storage. This allows the main library floor to be dedicated for extra study areas.

I never miss an opportunity to showcase my leadership skills and mentality, or my ability to look at the big picture instead of short term. i may not want to, but I am proud to be able to admit when i see that i have made a mistake, and how I strive to correct it and make sure it doesnt happen again. I admit to have made my fair share of mistakes in the past, but I learn what I can to become wiser and more experianced.

North Carolina State University is a perfect blend of old rustic architecture, culture, and community and new technology, energy efficiency, and geren initiatives.

The new campus dedicated to engineering students with tons of research available. Plus the friendliness of most students. Everyone seems pretty happy. We all enjoy going to football and basketball teams and suppot our school.

There is a ton of new development, like a new student center and growing engineering campus. Everything is in pretty good shape and the professors can be really helpful if you are willing to make the effort to talk to them. Opposed to my friend's experiences at other universitys, I have really loved everything about my school. There are parties if you are looking for them, but theres a good balance and emphasis on being productive.

When my friends ask me about NC state, I'll brag about how the library was open twenty-four hours per day, how it was nine stories tall. You could find anything in that library -- read every major newspaper, every literary journal, novels, text-books...It was all there, and seemed to represent the center of knowledge, a towering, prestigious reminder of the value of an academic lifestyle.

The school nicely combines urban settings with a quaint, personable atmosphere. The school is reputable in many disciplines, and is well enough endowed to meet the interests of nearly any prospective student. In the Humanities college where I have spent my time, the classes are engaging, but absolutely managable, research opportunities and internships are available to the dedicated seeker, and my greatest endorsement is the quality of the faculty. Extra-curricular activities are diverse and welcoming, and the amenities available on campus are leading edge.

I love how organized and professional the staff and faculty is towards incoming, current, and former students. I also really appreciate how technologically advanced NC State is. I love the way online classes work and the accessibility to the library through the internet. The community at NC State is just great and I enjoy being here.

I have not yet attended the school, I am a transfer student heading to NC State for the spring semester, but I couldn't be more excited! Most of my friends have gone on to community colleges, or universities in the vacinity of my native Rochester, NY. Although heading many states away is nerve wracking, I accept the challenge head on and love knowing i will be getting a unique college experience as opposed to that of my friends, one of which they will be excited to hear about; and I will be ready to share.

The diversity and atmosphere are the most fantastic aspects of NC State! When you walk around the campus, you are bound to meet people from all over the county, state, country, and even other countries! This diversity creates a warm and friendly atmosphere that cannot be surpassed by any other university. THIS, is what makes NC State the perfect place to be!

How well organized programs and resources are. And the vast amount of resources and oportunities that aren't avalible else where.

When I go home and talk to my friends about NC State, the main thing I brag about are the people here. I'm from Maryland, which some people consider to be "the north", and I've discovered that southern hospitality isn't just a myth. The majority of students here are genuinely nice people, constantly saying ma'am/ sir, holding doors open, picking up dropped items, and even friendly "hello's" from peers in class. It was definitely a welcome change from what I was used to, after growing up right outside of DC.

There are many chances to meet new people and make more friends. Such events as football games, career fairs, and seminars are a great place to meet people.

North Carolina State University is a fun-loving campus, in which someone can feel at home. There are many organizations to get involved in and feel like you are a part of the university. There are always club meetings, sporting events, or social events happening on campus. Any where you go, you will find something to do. It is a diverse campus and anyone will find some way to fit in.
