The sterotypes that I hear most often is that everyone is from a farm background, and that we aren't smart students

some stereotypes are that states students are mainly fraternity/sorority types and farmers

I am not from North Carolina so I am unfamiliar with many of the stereotypes about NCSU and the students. I suppose that alot of students are country hicks could be one stereotype.

That our campus population is heavily composed of rednecks and farmers.

There may be stereotypes but I shatter them.

That the school only deals with animals, farm animals to be exact, and the students are all red necks who just want to learn how to take care of the farm animals.

They are not as intelligent as those who go to UNC or Duke NCSU is made up of "rednecks" and "hicks"
