If you want to attend NCSU you must be driven. You must be willing to put in the hours to practice that material to make sure you understand. Go to office hours and get to know your professor they will love you for it and your grades will show your effort. It is a large school so you must not let yourself fall thorugh the cracks because noone will notice te an independent student, take the initative to form study groups, and be willing to work hard.

If considering attending this school, a person needs to be very responsible and keep up with their schoolwork. This school offers a lot of autonomy and various places to study, and it is up to the student to follow through and study the material. If considering attending this school, a person should also be friendly- it is a large campus and easy to make friends.

The type of person that would thrive at NC State is the person that works hard and prides themselves on their studies. In college, it's easy to go under with all the things happening around you. This is especially prevalent on such a big campus as NC State's because there is constantly events happening. You have to be able to balance out your work, play, and have the strength to say "no" sometimes.

Students who attend this school should be bright, free-thinking minds who not only have the desire for nearly unparalleled knowledge, but also posess the drive to constantly work hard and earn their degree and refuse to have it handed to them. A student who values professors who treat them as equal adults with responsibilities and respect will be at home here, as long as they they too respect their professor. this school truly educates the elite minds of society, and I am proud to call myself a student.

Any type of person should attend; from quiet to outgoing; lots of clubs to join and things to do....or you can just hang out on your own. Creativity is a good characteristic to possess. Being willing to work with others; there is a lot of group work.

People who want a good education at a public university. I chose this school because it is close to home and is public (cheaper tuition). It seems to be a pretty diverse school, with many degree programs offered.

Any type of person can, and should, attend this school! Walking around campus, you see so many different types of people, thats something about NC State that makes it so awesome! There is every and all types of people that you can imagine! Even though there are specific majors that stand out here, all of the academic majors that are offered have great programs and amazing faculty that will make sure you succeed.

A person who is willing to get really involved and likes a big school should attend this school. There are so many opportunities at this school so there is something for everybody. A person that has a passion and interest in some area should also attend NC State.

I believe that it takes an open and non-judgemental person to come to this campus and attend school here. Everyone here is truly free and open to being themselves and not trying to be someone their not. That is one of the main reasons I decided to attend here. The people here are so accepting of all kinds of people and beliefs. So in order to survive here, you have to be accepting and open-minded to the different and unique people ou will meet on campu.

This school is great if you want to meet a bunch of people, if you enjoy being exposed to the arts (the theater productions are wonderful), and if you are willing to work hard and stay focused. If you are looking to never be bored, this is the place for you. There is always something new and fun going on, whether it's a concert, a free movie, the farmer's market, or the state fair.

Someone should attend NCSU if they are open to very diverse activities and new opportunities. NCSU has so much going on all the time, and the campus is huge. So a person who goes there should be friendly and strive to succeed, so that they can utilise the resources that NCSU has. A person also has to be outgoing there in order to meet new people and to jump right in to new opportunities.

North Carolina State University is a top engineering school. Personally, I chose to attend for a couple of different reasons. First, they offer a great Science Education Program. Second, many of the classes in the Science Education Program are offered online or in the evening which allows me to pursue my Master's part-time. The science classes I have taken are second to none. The professors are engaged and dedicated to student learning and mastery of the content. As far as fellow students, every person I have encountered in classes or just walking across campus has been friendly.

The students interested in attending this school should understand that it’s a very big school with lots of students and up to 300 people in a class. This means you have to know what you want to get out of your education and stay on top of your studies. In order to succeed you have to be able to drive yourself to greatness, because the instructors more than likely don’t even know your name.

The perfect NC State student is creative, open-minded, enthusiastic, and possesses lots of school spirit. People who learn best in interactive group settings will do well at this school, as there is a strong focus on collaboration. The student community puts a strong emphasis on maintaining a healthy school to social life balance. Cut-throat and competitive students will not fit in well at this school because the rest of the student body knows that a balanced state of mind comes from integrating schoolwork with strong friendships and participation in extra-curricular activities.
