North Carolina State University at Raleigh Top Questions

I decided to go to NCSU, because it was in-state so the tuition was cheaper but I also decided to go to this university because it had a Zoology degree program. I also chose this school because it is already connected to a vet school and is known nationally for it. Finally I chose this school because of it's VetPAC program that is unique to it, no other school has a program like this that helps you to apply to vet school.

I have always been a Wolfpack fan, so this was my first choice. I still had to visit to make sure it felt right. I am a Human Biology major, basically Pre-Med. I asked some UNC Pharmacy school alumni which school they felt would help get me into medical school. They said they felt more NC State students get into medical school at UNC, than actual UNC students. I felt NC State's science curriculum would prepare me better for medical school than UNC's. I felt right when I visited State and knew that's where I was meant to go.

I wanted a large school, that had club gymnastics, strong education and mathematics programs, all with the ability to have a small school feel. The warm weather was also a big plus!

I decided to go to NC State because it was consecutively ranked as one of the top schools and because it had a diverse range of people and close to my North Carolina home.
