the co-op job program

Monique

The co-op program is what sets my school apart from all others. Everyone is amazed when I tell them I have worked full time for 6 months at a real job.

Bob

The co-op program involving hands on internships is invaluable.

Lassandra

The coop program. we do 3 internships before we graduate in our major. It's awesome.

Claire

boston is so much fun!!!!!!!!!!! in study hours, in the day and the nightlife is great!!!

Victoria

Northeastern really doesn't get enough credit.

NEU is a very good college. But as I am an international student I can't really say if this college is the best one in the U.S. All i know is that i love the campus, i love my classes and i love boston!

Amanda

According to many college reviews, broomball is really popular, but this isn't true! No one here plays broomball. The popular things to do are attend local sports, go to the Springfest concert (with big names like Ludacris, Nas, Ben Folds, etc.), campus comedy shows (with Lisa Lampanelli, Jim Gaffigan) and Sex Week.

Daniel

Go here.

Keep an eye out for the one-armed push-up man. He will do 10 one-armed push-ups for every dollar you donate. The cafeteria food is among the best I've tasted at universities. Stir-fry is a must. You are not a real Northeastern student if you have not been to a hockey game or ate at Chicken Lou's. In Boston, there is no such thing as a keg, so expect to see a beer ball for the first time if you are not from around the area.

sabrina

I think Northeastern is growing. It's getting more and more recognized. we have the best co-op program on the face of the earth so if you want work experience you are guaranteed to get it. Plus the campus is expanding (they are building new 5 star dorms from what I heard)

NU is a good time

Alex

Yeah, I'm kind of bitter about this school.

Alex

You can tailor your NU experience to do what you want. Academics, activities, social life, travel, whatever. If you try to do it, and argue with the right people - you can make it happen. You can even have two completely different degrees and a minor and three co-ops and a study abroad. In seven years that is. Just make sure you get it in writing when an adviser tells you it's okay (an email will do.) If not, you may not get the credits you thought you were going too. Ooops.

I had a bad freshman year, it was a super snowy and Icey year, I was 1,000 miles away from home. I was miserable, but it was my own fault because I didn't get out and take advantage of all the awesome things that Northeastern offers, and even now i should probably take advantage of them. Like ski trips, clubs, debates, panels, shows, concerts, exhibits, anything you could imagine having at a college Northeastern really has it. And, Northeastern has the most amount of Green Grass on it's campus than any other College in Boston Look it up!

Ben

Sometimes the administration needed to get its head out of its ass, specifically when talking about tuition increases.

There are a lot of dining options around here. Some professors are good, some not so good. NORTHEASTERN STUDENTS HATE BOSTON UNIVERSITY!!!!!!! And vice versa. BU has an acceptance rate of 57{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c}, Northeastern has an acceptance rate of 39{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c}. Let's see, which one seems to be the harder one to get in? NORTHEASTERN! They also say we dont have jobs when we leave but I'm 99.99{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} positive we have better jobs with more income than any of those BU students. SO SHOVE IT BU!

Blake

Great place to go and when your a sophomore or above you get sick on campus apartments.

Marie

NEU is the best, despite the terrible red tape and money spent on welcome banners, the co-op program is awesome and prepares us for real life!
