The best thing about my school is that the class sizes are small enough to feel like more than just a number to the professor. There is more of a one-on-one feeling when attending class. Also, the fact that nearly every class you take at this school is taught by someone who is an expert in their field or is working in the field. This gives more of a feeling of learning more than textbook information.

The diversity and wide range of both cultural and socioeconomic diversity.

The campus is very easy to navigate and the faculty and staff are very nice. The other students are very friendly and goal oriented.

Tough classes. Fair Professors.

I joined the Student Program Board and have become aware of the various activities that students can partake in both on and off-campus. From weekend trips to Chicago to Halloweekends at Cedar Point to Detroit Pistons games, I have been able to experience some really cool people and places at a greatly reduced or no cost!

OU provides students with the resources and abilities to do whatever we want. If we want to start up a club or organization, they give us money to do so. If we want to bring in a famous speaker, they will do it. At OU professors actually care about students. Departments regularly host discussion nights off campus in local bars and pubs. I get to have discussions with the experts in the fields-my professors! OU has awesome sporting events. The Men's B-Ball team is going to dominate this year. GO GRIZZLIES!!!

It is close to my home and work.

The faculty! Every teacher I've ever had at Oakland University has been an amazing educator. Not only are they experts in their field but they teach us in ways that apply to reality. Most of the time we're actually doing things that would happen in the business world, or are happening. Other times we're involved in intense discussions. The teachers are always there if you need them, and always willing to help work with you.
