I love the atmosphere of Ouachita. This place is like my home because the people are so friendly and there is a kindness that spreads like wildfire as soon as you set foot on campus. People you don't even know will say "hello" to you on the sidewalks. Cafeteria workers give out candy bars during Christmastime when you answer trivia questions correctly. Professors invite you to their homes for get-togethers and dinners just because they want to. There is no place in the world like Ouachita Baptist University.

The entire atmosphere. There is nothing about OBU that I would even think of changing. We are an incredibly friendly campus with professors who want you to succeed and will do anything within their power to see you do so. We also have students around campus that do not mind tutoring you or helping you with assignments for classes that they have already had. Everyone you see on campus is willing to help you as an individual succeed academically and socially.

The best thing about Ouachita Baptist University is the smaller class size and the ability to have one on one time with professors when you need help with classwork. There is also a great school spirit at OBU in support of the athletic teams
