There is a long waiting time: to get to class behind the slow walkers on the crowded streets, long lines for food, long lines to get into football games, long lines at the gym. Basically: overpopulation. Aside from waiting, I would say the biggest problem Penn State has is Roy Baker. (the director of sorority and fraternity life)

The people who don't appreciate being there because when they act irresponsibly it reflects bad on the entire student body and the university in general.

As of right now, since i am attending penn state lehigh valley the only bad thing about this campus is that is small. there is not enough space for students to spend free time or study time.

On campus housing is very difficult to secure and does not really accommodate those that live far from campus or even out of state. It is for this reason that most students move off campus after their first year.

The weather. No doubt or second guesses here. From October until March it can be bitter cold and usually rainy. Thank God there is a fun football team to watch during these conditions.

The worst thing about PSU is the weather, which is uncontrollable. The worst controllable thing about it is the difficult and heavy coursework.

The racial separation is at times unbearable -- and the worst part is that it's coming from both sides. There is no blatant racial hate or animosity, but there are clear boundaries that are not crossed. For such a big school that boasts diversity and tolerance, it is unfortunate that you can walk through HUB, the main student center on campus, and see blacks only sitting with blacks, and whites only sitting with whites.

There isn't much I can say here. The hardest thing is doing work because there is so much to do that is more fun than studying, but anyone can complain about that no matter where you go. It's competitive, but with good reason, and that's even a good thing. I don't really have much to say about Penn State that is negative, except maybe that State College is surrounded by cows. There could be more to do once you leave the town, but that makes Penn State it's own place. Thats a good thing too.

It's large. So if you don't make and effort you can get lost in the numbers.

The classes can be up to 20 minutes apart by foot. The buses are usually full during day time. It is too far and very easily made late due to insuficient bus

Since it is larger school, almost all of my tests are multiple choice, and I do well with essay questions.

The worst thing about my school is the distance to my classes. I have a far walk since I am off campus, but there are plenty of busses that run and also parking garages on capmus so it is a help.

The worst thing about penn state is intro level professors, because they are only there for the research. If you can make it past those classes, then everyone becomes much more involved and the professors are actually there for education, not research.

There is not as much diversity as a city campus school.

The school is very expensive and they charge a lot of money for a lot of basic things (like parking).

It's is very expensive to go here, and difficult to get any substantial financial aide to pay for the large tuition and housing bills

Too many people, not enough room, not enough places to live, way too expensive for school and housing, people are generally rude in every activity, teachers in big classes dont care if you pass or fail, limitations to take cources outside your major other then gen-eds.

Classes cost so much money. It is hard to pay for it if you are not continuously taking out loans. I know i will graduate with a ton of debt.

Just a little too cold in winter. The food in the restaurants doesn't taste too good. (not like University of Pennsylvania). and we dont have fresh fish for sushi because its kinda far from sea

The worst thing about my school is the lack of diversity. The school is over 80{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} caucasian, and because of this many people tend to feel uncomfortable. There are often many reports of hate crimes against minorities which adds to their discomfort. This is the worst thing because nobody should feel uncomfortable about the way they are at any school.
