Michael
People who want really small campuses.
Stephanie
If you are a slacker, then you should not attend PSU. The courses are not extremely hard to pass, but they definitely require both time and effort.
Eric
Someone who really doesn't have any goals, or never took school seriously. If you're only here to party, you're going to fail.
Jessica
Anyone from lower income families should not come here. Different majors can also be gender, racially, and financially discriminating.
Audrey
A person who isn't outgoing shouldn't attend Penn State. There are so many people and different things to do here that you have to get involved and put yourself out there to really make the most of the experience.
Colleen
This college is very accomodating to all types of people, but i guess the people who shouldn't attend would be the ones who don't want to be involved and social, because without involvement and social activities college would be no fun. Also if a person doesn't like large lecture halls, they might not like this school because most of the general education classes are taken in a 300-700 person lecture hall, but all classes relating to your major will be in smaller classrooms.
STEPHANIE
A person who is goal driven should attend this school. They need to be focused and able to keep up with the work load because there is much to learn. The person also needs to open to variety.
Karen
I think anyone would find a place to fit it
Brittany
Penn State University Park is not for a very shy person nor someone who needs smaller classes. Many classes consist of over 100 students so you will never get that one on one attention like in high school unless you actively go to a teacher's office hours. Getting to know people at this school means expanding your horizons and taking an initiative to join clubs and go to meetings.
Kevin
Penn State is so diverse that anyone can attend and be able to fit in.
Alyssa
An extremely shy person should not attend this school, because people are very group-oriented, so if you cannot associate with a lot of people it is hard to find a place to fit in.
Richard
An outgoing, fun loving person should go to penn state. Someone who like to have fun but when it time to get some work done they can buckle down and get it done.
Michael
If you are someone who is worried about big classes or thinks they won't be able to handle a big college this school isn't for you.
Brendan
I believe every can and should attend this university. Penn State offer a variety of majors to chose from. There are also numerous amounts of clubs, organizations, fraternities, and sororities. This allows everyone a chance to find their own niche in a very large school. Since Penn State is an honored university, the work-load is intense, but it is not impossible. If you can juggle schoolwork with a social life, you can succeed at Penn State.
Alyssa
Penn State would be the wrong decision for anyone who would feel overwhelmed in large classes as a freshman. The class sizes range from 20 to 600 students per section and that can be too much for some to take. An important thing to remember is that professors always keep office hours and there are Teaching Assistants available to help all students when it is necessary.
Matt
Get in shape early before you start drinking- the hotter you are the more likely you'll get whatever you want
Carla
i think my school has a little for everyone
Desire
The kind of person that should not attend this school is someone who does not like snow, cold temperatures, studying for exams, or school spirit. There is always a party going on to celebrate Penn State's victory in something.
Janelle
I believe that this school has a lot of diversity in which almost any personality type or ethnic background can feel comfortable. The only students who I would recommend to definitely not attend Penn State University are students who want to live in a very urban area and those who do not like large lecture halls. Many first and second year classes are extremely large.
Shabina
The students who prefer a smaller location. Someone who is not friendly oriendted.
