Someone who is looking for the feeling of a big school, because it is a small campus.

Someone that wants a city school shouldn't choose to come to Penn State Altoona. Altoona is a small city, but nothing like the big cities like NYC or Philadelphia. This is the only person that I can think of that might not enjoy going to school at Penn State Altoona. Everyone has a place here and there are many clubs that can make anyone feel comfortable and a part of the campus.

Someone who does not like to have fun or is looking for a great community outside of the college.

Someone who is looking for a very big school with hundreds of people in your class should not attend this school. The main campus at University Park would probably be a better fit. Also if someone is looking to go to a school where there is a lot of activies and overall just a fun city or town, Penn State ALTOONA is not the place. Penn State Altoona is pretty much the best thing that ever happened to the town of Altoona, PA.

The kind of person who shouldn't attend this school, is the kind of person who doesn't want to work hard to earn a highly recognized degree. Slackers should not attend this school because, Penn State alumni are very determined hard-working people. The work load I have lined up for the spring semester requires at least 30-40 hours of my time to be spent studying. To be a Penn State student, you'll need to learn how to commit at least 70-80{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of your time to studying.

A person that is not willing to work hard should not attend Penn State. This college requires active and prospective students who want the best out of life.

I struggled a lot with money at Penn State which is lead to me having to transfer home. So, students who aren't as fortunate financially should consider a different school. Also, if you do not like to get involved in things and you are more of a home body, this school may not be for you because their is constantly something going on.

A person who has no ambition or work ethic should not attend this school. It's not a fast paced environment but you are expected to do your work on time.

The kind of person that shouldn't attend this school is a person who is not focused and do not want to succeed in life. Penn State is known for its partying but it also has wonderful professor who assign hard assignments. It is very easy to get off track therefore a person needs to be very focused and determined. If a person likes to goof off they should not attend this school or any school for that matter. Attending college means that you want to obtain a higher education which requires a lot of self determination.
