The racial tension is frustrating. I come from a racially diverse hometown and was taken aback when I moved here. It feels like we are back in the 1960's when the blacks and whites were segregated.

I think the most frustrating thing about Penn State is when professors allow students to talk in class. Often students are being very disruptive and this is either ignored or allowed. This type of behavior affects other students who are trying to learn. Disruptive students should be made to leave the classroom. I believe doing this would train them how to behave in the classroom and teach them a lesson on how acting that way is unacceptable.

Some of my professors are a little crazy about their attendance policy. I am a single mom of two kids and it is sometimes hard to find a sitter for a sick child so I can attend class and thus sometimes need to miss.

The nursing program to which I have applied requires that I remain on a wait list.
