A Christian who is dedicated to making a difference in the world.

I would highly reccommend Pepperdine to well-rounded students who desire a small classroom atmosphere, value staff and student relationships, enjoy participating in multiple extra-curricular activities, have a strong committment to community service, have more conservatively based values and morals, and who enjoy tanning on the beach, eating acai bowls and surfing in the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

Malibu is a fantastic place to live if you enjoy hiking, surfing, outdoor sports, rock climbing, stand up paddleboarding, or really anything that involves the outdoors and adventure. I typically go to the beach about 4 times a week (it's less than a mile away). Pepperdine also provides so much opportunity to travel abroad for very little cost. Through Pepperdine, I have been to Nicaragua, studied in Argentina for 4 months, and plan on studying in Spain next summer. Pepperdine has campuses all around the world and strongly encourages learning through travel. Very few schools offer this.
Alexandra
Someone who wants to live in an amazing place, go to the most beautiful campus in the nation and be part of the one of the most amazing communities of students!
Stephanie
A person who wants small classes, doesn't mind that everyone knows everyone, and who loves the beach
Kayla
A Christian would be very satisfied at this school.

Although the school is best known for its faith, one does not need to be strong in his or her faith to attend Pepperdine. I am not really religious, but I have felt accepted at Pepperdine regardless. I know that despite my differences with other students, I will still fit in. The most prominent quality in students at Pepperdine is leadership. Each student is a leader in some way, shape or form, and to see them all come together is amazing.

Pepperdine is a very unique institution. It won't be the right college fit for everyone, but for those who know what they want out of their college experience, and are willing to to invest, they will find themselves in a truly perfect environment. Contrary to some popular belief, you don't have to be a devout Christian to enjoy Pepperdine. Instead, this school fits a person who abides by a certain moral compass, religious or otherwise, and can appreciate the mission of service and goodwill Pepperdine advocates. If you love a tight-knit, community atmosphere, you'll love Pepperdine.

High academic and community achievers with religious backgrounds perferably christian. Social butterflies who are also generous and kind and positively contribute to their community. Persons who are heavily involved and concerned in their academics, but also make time for other non academic pursuits and enjoy working together with others.
Hope
A person of intergrity should apply and attend this school. The person should have a background in faith and have desires to make a difference in this world. A person that is an avid reader, learner, and writter would fit in well. This school needs people that are outgoing and have lots of dreams.

Really, anybody could go to school here, but I would really recommend going here if you're the type of person who isn't afraid to put yourself out there and meet new people. The few people that I know that don't like our beautiful college (literally one of the prettiest in the nation) didn't leave their rooms very often during the first semester. Besides that, you'll find a bunch of highly-motivated, intelligent people all around you. One other thing: there's something for everyone. Clubs, fraternities/sororities, the beach, dorm competitions. It's all here!
Alexa
The type of person that should attend this school is one that is friendly, open to getting to know people, motivated, and hardworking.
lindsay
Someone who can stay focused and balance many activities at the same time. There are so many extra curricular activities to become involved with that it is hard to say no. Someone who likes being busy and participating in activities with many different groups of people should attend Pepperdine.
Laura
Students who value quality relationships should attend Pepperdine, because they will find those in and out of the classroom. The small class sizes (average 20 person classes) and 13:1 student to faculty ratio guarantee that a student will participate in the classroom discussion and gain hands-on learning experience. Someone who wants that personal education and emphasis on learning, combined with countless extracurricular activities and a strong family community in general, should attend Pepperdine.

Pepperdine is a very unique school. There are many students involved in their religious beliefs, and if your goal is to grow in your faith while in college, Pepperdine is a great place to do so. If you aren't interested in that, there are plenty of people here who you would be similar to. The academics here are great; it's a fairly small school, and I've been to almost every professor's home. The view is insanely beautiful, and there are so many opportunities here. Pepperdine is the place to come if you want to study abroad.
Freddy
Smart, religious, materialistic, and republicans should attend this college.
Brittany
Someone who is either of Christian faith or is tolerant of Christianity and willing to devote time to convocation weekly. Also someone who is willing to devote time to studying and work hard for their grades. A party mentality is okay but definitely should not overpower the desire to be able to compete academically. A lazy person will not do well her because not only are the classes difficult, the walk to each class is often an uphill hike and usually people break a sweat going up to the business, language, law, and communication departments.
Courtnie
Anyone that enjoys waking up to a beautiful view and fellowshipping with genuine people daily should most definitely look into this school.
Joshua
Anybody who wants to further their education beyond high school. This school maybe a Chirstian school, but it isn't discrminatory towards anyone. People of every race, religion, class are all accepted. That's the beautiful thing about this school, anybody can join.
Sajan
a person comitted to success, and wanting to achieve more in life. A person that has strong moral values, and is dedicated to excellence
