ARTISTS!!!!!!! Point Park is by far the best school for anyone who wishes to be thrown into a world of performing arts. The dance program offers more concentrations than anyother program in the country; ballet, modern, jazz, pedagogy, choreography in either a BA or BFA. The musical theater program is equally as talented with performance opportunities, and many times the two programs overlap. The academics are kept minimal and most of them do help with your given major so they don't feel like a waste of money.

The best I know about that school every one is welcome. Discrimination is not really the basis of that school.

I think Point Park is a very open school. They would welcome most any type of person into the university as would the students who attend. Because of this liberal approach though, some ultra conservative students might feel out of place and be uncomfortable.

I see people from all walks of life at this school, which is refreshing. There isn't a person out there that couldn't fit in here. There are all races, ages, religions and sexual orientations. I was raised in a predominantly white community and found it very interesting to befriend people of different races than my own. I have learned a lot from fellow students from different cultural backgrounds that I would never have been exposed to had I not attended this school. It was a bonus to my education!
