Some think that Princeton students are totally geared towards getting ahead in life, rather than enjoying college. Princeton students are stereotypically very preppy. There is the stereotype of the rich pretty trust-fund-wielding Princeton student.

Friends from home think of Princetonians as pretentious, snobby and elitist or as non-stop workaholics bent on success at all costs. Princeton is seen as a lesser university than Harvard or Yale, around the level of Stanford.
