It would be great to be able to go back in time and have an opportunity to let myself see how hard it would be to go to college later in life. I would be able to show myself all of the the opportunities that I missed. Who knew the economy would have ended up this way. Holding down a job and returning to college in order to reinvent my future is scary, but with so few options due to the reduction of available jobs I need to have a new profession. If I had listened to my Mom and other college graduates when I was in high school I would have already graduated and returning to college would have been easier. Who knew? Obviously, not me.

If I could travel into the past to meet up with myself in high school with the knowledge that I have now I would let my self know that community colleges are not a bad thing. There are many positive reasons as to why community colleges are a better start to furthering my education that a university would have been. I had no choice but to go to a community college because of expenses. I thought that I was left out of the crowd; the clich? dream of the typical high school student would not be achieved by me. When in high school I thought of how much fun it would be to live on my own and be able to do what ever I pleased. However, I have been delightfully enlightened by the beauty that patience and time have to offer. Time has given me power through being able to see how much money can be saved and the how much maintenance of my grade point average was achieved compared to my friends who went to four year colleges. I have learned valuable information from the path that my life has taken and am ready for the future.
