St. Cloud State Univeristy is known for their increadible business program and the liberal education program that all students must complete. It gives students that graduate a "world perspective" and almost 2,000 undergraduate students are international students. SCSU is also known for its hockey program which made it to the frozen four last year.

From what I know, it is the 2nd largest university and is the largest member of minnesota colleges and universitys.

St. Cloud State University is most known in this area for being very multi-cultural; both within the faculty & the student body. It is also known as a party school. I see & hear about this a lot at SCSU, however, it isn't so extreme that you can't completely avoid it either.

St Cloud State is an old school, with a long history of tradition and as a quality educational institution. I have been very happy with the staff I have worked with and the classes I have taken. St Cloud State is also known for it's strong hockey program.

I would say that this school is known for its connections. There is many opportunities to study abroad in other countries and universities around the world that have a history of exchange or study programs. Most of them sound exciting to me, but they are very expensive. Even for the short trips over the summer i would need some sort of federal grants to help me pay for the cost.

I would say Saint Cloud State University is best known for being Minnesota's second-largest university, with more than 17,200 students, and being along the beautiful Mississppi River. Students are able to choose from more than 200 majors, minors and pre-professional programs, including regional rarities such meteorology and geographic information systems. Also, SCSU contains many thing for students to enjoy including: events and activities, art galleries, theatre, about 250 clubs and organizations, NCAA athletics, club sports, intramurals, indoor recreation opportunities and outdoor pursuits. What more could you ask for.

My school is best known for partying. I am not a huge partyer so I feel very left out and out of place here.

St. Cloud State is probably best known for its diversity. We have many ethnic groups that attend St. Cloud State. I think we are also known for our professors. They are mainly down to earth and very much willing to help their students out throughout their education. I have had advisors that are willing to meet in the late evening ours to best accomodate.

Our school is best known for our hockey. We are ranked highly for our hockey team. I believe our school has a lot of school pride and I am proud to say I attend St. Cloud State University and I am a Husky!

There are variety of clubs to get involved in. The out- of state tuition rate is pretty descent for those who would like to come and experience the Minnesotan style college life. My college is most known for diversity and the acceptance of international students. There is not just one ethnic group, it is more of variety. Because we have many different ethnic groups, there is always something that everybody can learn from one another. For example, to me that is accceptance. There are many sort of different people, you do not have to like them, but do accept them.

My school is best known for drinking and doing drugs, even though it is a dry campus. I person don't do drugs or have partied while at school because it is considered a dry campus, but I see many lower class students going out and doing that kind of stuff anyday during the week. The school does try to prevent this from happening a lot though so have to give the school credit on that.

Other than our notable alumni and staff, Saint Cloud State University is most likely best known for its Devision I hockey team. Our hockey team is a key part of our school because of the 1980 Olympic hockey coach champion, Herb Brooks, coached our men's hockey team during the 1986-1987 season. He also lead the movement to create what is now the National Hockey Center here on campus.

This is school known for their education program and their college of education.

My advice is that you do your best in high school and get the best grades you possibly can. Also get involved in activities and groups during high school and do well on the ACT or SAT.
