The college is very liberal and often times they make you take classes that are multicultural. I believe that the required generals are roughly the same as many other colleges. If you can handle listening to how bad white people are, then this is the college for you.

I think a person that is dedicated and focused on learning and their major should attend Saint Cloud State. It is a school that is easy to figure your way around, and it is easy to figure out the steps you need to take for your major. It is also a great place for international students due to the fact that the campus is very diverse.

I feel that this school is great for people of many different diversities and backgrounds as well as a large variety of interests. The campus is very accepting and accomidation to helping students succeed with their dreams.

In all honesty, any high school graduates should come to this school. It has a very unique college experience; all through the days. If they do not plan on staying at St. Cloud State, at least they may have a chance to fulfill their individual generals while at the same time experience a couple of years of St. Cloud State student life; such as clubs and monthly events. Though there might be a great deal of excitement, the academic life here is a good challenge to take on. Accomplishing it will have many superb benefits.

I believe any kind of person should attend my school. There is such a diverse community, there's no way that someone would not be able to fit in. The diversity isn't just within ethnicity. After having attended this college for the past year, I would recommend that the person be open and liberal, one who gets excited about new experiences, especially ones that involve interactions with many different cultures and ethnicities. St.Cloud State University welcomes many from all over the world. I think it this enhances the educational and social experience found at this particular college.

A person who has their academic goals figured out, knows what they want to do once they graduate, and is willing to put in the time to do the work. Otherwise, they will find themselves just "floating around" undecided and getting drunk four nights out of the week.

When I think of a St. Cloud State student, I think of someone who is people-oriented. Attending a small univeristy, much like St. Cloud State allows people the opportunity to really get to know each other. I've noticed that whether you are shy or outgoing, college opens you up to meeting new people. Not a day goes by, where I don't pass by a familiar face on campus. If you ask St. Cloud State students why they prefer this university, I guarantee that many of them would say the size of the campus.

The kind of person that should attend St. Cloud State University should be outgoing, friendly, non-judgemental, and willing and eager to engage in new experiences in their social life as well as their academic life. St. Cloud State University is a great place for someone who is undecided on what they want to accomplish in their life and who they want to become because St. Cloud offers so many opportunities to take fun, informative classes that relate to many different interests, and the recreational activites put on by campus could not be more diverse.

People who should attend Saint Cloud State University, are those who like to be around people. There are 15,000 students here and it is very busy at all times. People who like to meet new people and can enjoy crowds would enjoy SCSU. Also, Saint Cloud State is very big but all of the classrooms and dorms are nearby so you don't need to worry about walking too far, especially during winter or on rainy days. Also, people who are very open minded because we are a very diverse an accepting community.

I think someone who is looking to gain experience in a specific career field through hands on learning, in depth lectures, and truly passionate teachers should attend this school. It is a great school for someone who way be a little scared to attend college. The campus is small enough where you see a lot of the same friendly faces and really get to know some of these people, but it is also big enough and diverse that it allows you to explore and experience new things. This college is great for someone who is looking for oppertunities.

If you know the major you want to do, then the professors and advisors will help you accomplish that goal. If you are unsure of your major, you can use the great on campus resources like the Career Services Center to help find out about different majors and what kind of jobs apply to them after school. The internship and job placement is very good in the business college. There are alot of study abroad opportunities as well. Financial aid is available to those who qualify and many scholarships as well (the school is pretty affordable anyway).

An ideal husky is someone who likes a mix of small town charm and the energy of an urban area, takes both academics and fun seriously, and is open to the possibilities surrounding them.

St. Cloud State is a school for someone who enjoys being social, likes being involved and enjoys a small urban center feel to it. The city itself is pretty well laid out, but there are no giant buildings or excessive traffic, the surrounding town is very homestyle. On campus, there is always something to do, whether it's a cultural night, a concert, a political protest or a hockey game. The Husky Hockey team is ranked top ten in the country, and games are pretty much the life on campus. Professors are intelligent, passionate and helpful.

A person who has strong social skills should attend this school. People in central Minnesota are generally very reserved and difficult to deal with. On a more positive note, people in this area also tend to be highly motivated, professional, and well educated.

Someone who should attend this school is someone who wants a high quality education from a school that can accomadate traditional and non-traditional students. I am a non-traditional student taking classes online because I live a distance from the campus and I have children at home that require care and the school does offer daycare but it saves on my college expenses being able to do my studies from home.
