It is very hard to decide what one thing I would consider "the best" about St. Edward's. If I had to choose, I would say the small class sizes are what I have enjoyed the most. My biggest class has 22 students in it. Most classes max out around 25 students. The professors know your name and strive to develop a relationship with each of their students. You will never feel like an ID number or "just another student".

The best thing about my school are the people I have gotten to meet. I can truly be around myself around them.

The small size, allows you to be engaged in the St. Edward's community and get to know people. There are also a lot of oncampus resources avaiable to students because this is a private school.

When i started at Saint Edwards last fall i was really worried about the size of the university. The campus has about the same number of students that my high school had, and going to such a small university scared me because i didnt think i would get the whole college experience and i thought it would be boring. Over this year i have learned how amazing it really is to go to such a small school. Also although we are a small school our spirt rocks, so dont hate small schools until you try it, like i did.

At St. Edward's, internships and study abroad programs are considered as a priority. Many majors offer courses in countries outside of the U.S.- St. Edward's considers multiculturalism essential for educational and personal growth. I find this as one of the main reasons why I decided to attend, and I cannot wait to study abroad. With a wide array of internships, it is also possible to find a great job due to the connections. Lastly, they also provide great assistant to alumni students and I am anxious to begin my career!

I consider the student to teacher ratio to be the best thing about St. Edward's. Most classes at the university are under twenty students, therefore each student gets much more individual attention than they would as opposed to a large, pulic university. Not only do teachers want to provide more one-on-one instruction, they are all very knowledgable of their particular fields of study. The professors make it clear that they are here to help you more than anything.

The best thing about my school is the open minded attitude the majority of the students and faculty carry with them. In class discussions, people are encouraged to express their viewpoints, no matter what they may be, and pretty much everyone is receptive to what others have to say, and if they disagree will politely express themselves. People of all different backgrounds attend my school and everyone can usually find people to hang our with.

The school is small and very open-minded. They put emphasis on global issues and studies. They also allow personal and spiritual growth with the help of seminars, guest speakers and events. St. Ed's also puts a strong emphasis on being culturally knowledgable and accepting of different ideas and personalities. This school is Catholic but does not force the religion on its students, instead St. Edwards' allows students to be whatever they please.
